There will be no senior training for the next two weeks. Next training session is on Monday the 2nd of August.

In the mean-time, have a look at a rugby classic: Leinster’s Jamie Heaslip running over Munster’s Ronan O’Gara like a train

Tridents 27 - 27 Karlstad RK

The Spartacus Tridents played their 3rd match of the season in the “B” league with a home match against Karlstad. Karlstad are one of the few teams that take the league seriously, so they sent a good squad down for the game. After having visits from GRF and Vanersborg cancelled at short notice, it was a breth of fresh for the Spartacus players. Unfortunately, Spartacus were short a few players, which meant that 4 of the lads who started in the bruising encounter against Hammarby the day before played in this game as well. They put hangovers to one side to play for the club they love. Spartacus were still short, so Karlstad kindly donated three players for the game. Unlike the two teams last encounter, Karlstad were able to play with contested scrums this time. This was good news to Spartacus, who always like a good battle in the front row.

I wasn’t at the game, so can’t tell you much of what happened. Anyone who was, please feel free to add a commnet or two. Anyway, the game ended in a draw. Thanks to all who made the match possible. The Trident’s next game is away to Boras.
