BackgroundSpartacus Rugby Union Football Club was founded in 1968. The persons behind Spartacus were Göran Olsson, John Phelan and Willard Sartre. At the beginning Spartacus only had a men senior side. Nowadays we have senior, ladies and youth teams. |

Senior (only in swedish)Today we have one senior side. The side is going through a generation change. The team mostly consists of players brought up in Spartacus but there are also players from other countries such as, England, Irland, New Zealand, France and Germany. Last time Spartacus was in Swedish premier ship was 1998. This year the side is playing in division "2 mitt". |

Youth teams (only in swedish)Spartacus has teams raging between U11 and U17. We also have activities for the youngest age group U9. We put a lot of effort into to our youth organisation. Viking Cup our yearly international youth tournament. |

Club facilitiesWe are sited at Mellbyfältet in Partille, which is next to Gothenburg, Sweden's second biggest town. From the centre of Gothenburg you will reach the club within 15 minutes by bus and 10 minutes by car. We have our own clubhouse next to two pitches. One of the pitches is just used for rugby and the other is shared whit local football clubs. The clubhouse is opened at least one hour before and after training and matches. We have one fully employed "handy man" Titus. He is a former Rumanian school rugby coach. You are of course always welcome to visit our training or games.
